As we traveled from the airport to the city, the quiet ruins of the 2010 Yushu earthquake stood as a solemn reminder of resilience. Overcoming altitude sickness, language barriers, and lifestyle differences, we embarked on an uncharted creative journey, guided by curiosity and an open heart. With no fixed plans, professional models, or styling, we met Zang locals—on grasslands, roadsides, at school gates, and temple fronts—and invited them into our vision. The fluttering prayer flags, night fires, storm-kissed lakes, radiant brides, and the joyous songs of the Zang people embodied the essence of this season's Air Painting, weaving a pure and dreamlike tale of Qinghai.
